Farts Aren’t Embarrassing

Upon reading that title, you might be wondering what the heck I have in store for you. It’s not very common to go around talking about *ssshhhh* farts *ssshhhh* just cause. I must have a reason. Of course I have a reason. A very important one at that.

Well, sorta.

I know of all us have been in the situation (whether you say or not) where a build up of high pressure air needs to be released. If you’re by yourself or with friends/family who don’t care, then firing away is quite easy. Other times, it may be necessary to leave the room and visit the bathroom/restroom. No problems, right. But what about those situations where getting away isn’t so easy? Or the times when a surprise attack occurs with no warning?

Let me say this, public farting is just plain awkward. How else can I describe it. Some people will ignore it (bless their hearts) while others, well, laughing/giggling/pointing might be a common negative response. Depending where you are will ultimately determine the response you receive for giving in to the pressures of compressed air.

{Aaron, this is awkward enough reading this. What are trying to say?}

Fortunately for you and I, others understand what it feels like to be in this situation. If you’re like me, you believe everything you hear and see on TV. I have come across a TV show that has created their own rendition of a song informing its viewers that farts aren’t embarrassing. And just because of this, without a doubt, I now believe that farts are more similar to sneezing/sniffling. Acceptable. Now of course, you won’t believe me and you’re most likely about to walk away in disbelief on how terrible this post is.

But wait!

I found the music clip on Youtube to share with you. But be prepared for a life changing experience. Because when you finish watching, you might get the urge to never hold back again.

The Japanese title is Onara はずかしくないよ. Onara is the Japanese word for fart, while hazukashikunai would be the negative verb conjugation for embarrassed.

The video starts out with the character feeling like somethings going down. A voice speaks to her and the song begins. The song ends and well, you’ll figure it out.

Enjoy!

Farts Are Lovely!

  1. OMG, that was hilarious. Now I want to run around everywhere going “poot poot poot” in rythmic singing and dance. XD

    • haha, awesome. For some reason I get a good laugh every time I watch this video. I’m pretty sure it’s because of its cheesyness and material content. Quite priceless in my eyes.

  2. woah…
