Can Inverted Become Verted? すごい

On December 20, 2009 I won a contest held over at yonasu.com.

I just so happened to be the Grand Prize winner and scored myself a ￥3000 iTunes Gift Card. Being dominated in Yen, I obviously had to use the Gift Card in the Japanese iTunes store. This was a great opportunity to sang some songs had I wanted to listen to for awhile and find some new music by just randomly surfing the store. I promised yonasu that I would give him my list of songs when I redeemed the full credit on the Gift Card. I managed to redeem the ￥3000 today, and instead of just giving him my list in an email, I thought I would share it with everyone.

Some of the songs I choose were from the soundtrack on Jubeat (that crazy awesome music arcade game I’ve been playing lately). The soundtrack is great so I made sure to grab a few of those.  Many others were just randomly found via a ton of music previews.  Most songs are embedded with links to their corresponding video on YouTube (except 8 and 11; sorry).

1. Air Man Ga Taosenai – Team.Nekokan[Neko]

Inspired by the fun/challenging MegaMan (RockMan) games and especially the desperately hard opponent that is AirMan.

2. Arab. Hertz Club – 80Kidz

A very chill and relaxing Electronic song.  They have opened for the likes of Justice.  Pure win right there.

3. Sigsig (Original Extended) – Teranoid & MC Natsack

The first Jubeat song on this list.  Mega fun to play and I have just ventured in playing this song on Extreme difficulty.

4. 気分上々↑↑ – Mihimaru GT

Another Jubeat great in my eyes.  Has just the right amount of groove to keep things interesting.  I like it!

5. Snow Fairy – FUNKIST

The current OP from the Fairy Tail anime.  The chorus is addicting, plus, when I hear the song it reminds me of good times.

6. ちょうどいいとこにいたい – たむらぱん

I really love the chorus in this Jubeat classic.  A simple fun song that I just can’t get enough of.  Definitely a new favorite.

7. Passion – Utada Hikaru

I guess this song is from one of the Kingdom Hearts games.  That’s why it sounded familiar.

8. Hateshinaisekai – YMCK

I love a good 8bit band and YMCK delivers.  Most of their music is unavailable on the CDN iTunes so I had to pick of this jem.

9. LOVE.IT – Love  [Album; 6 songs (MAGIC, STARLIGHT, MOONLIGHT, RED EYE, White Choco & Love No Theme)]

This was a total random find.  I’m digging the J-Pop and slight electronic mix.  White Choco is a must listen.

10. Sakuranbo – ai otsuka

A J-Pop classic?  Possibly.  Either way, it’s a terrific song.  Listen to the chorus and you’ll be hooked.

11.  Television – Nacchan Peak

Out of all the songs I got, this one just won’t leave my head.  The beat is stuck in my mind and I’m loving it.

Well, there you have it.  My iTunes card is empty but my room is jumping with these new beats.  I encourage you to check out these songs if you’re craving for some new sounds.  Even if you don’t like them, you might find something else that appeals to you along the way.
